Author: Barbara Speak
Series: Flawlessly Broken
Release Date: July 1st

SYNOPSIS:
It seems Kate Williams has it all; money, great job, a supportive family, and an amazing group of friends. What she lacks is the confidence and ability to make a good decision regarding the men in her life. After the worse break up yet, she runs into the arms of Ryan, her long time best friend and the one that seems to always mend all of her broken hearts. But after years of being "That" guy, he is ready to confess to her what he has felt all along.

A night out with her friends brings a complete stranger into the mix. One encounter on the dance floor is all it took for him to flood her every thought. But Is he really a stranger after all or is he closer to her than she thinks?

Should Kate take the chance and chose her best friend, knowing he will cherish her forever? Or should she take a leap and go with the man that had her heart before she even knew his name?
Someone’s heart will be broken, someone will lose everything they hold dear, and someone will tell the ultimate lie and destroy everything.

Will fearing regret keep Kate away from what she really wants most?

*JMAC'S REVIEW*

I honestly loved Fearing Regret.
I met Kate briefly in Finding Solace, being that she's Ash's sister.
I loved Kate's character.  Kate always picked the wrong guys.  Her last boyfriend turned into a crazy guy when they broke up, leaving her and her friends a bit worried.
What I really love is the friendship between all the characters.  I felt like I was right there in the group partying it up with all of them.
Back to Kate.... To me , she was a girl who so badly wanted to find "the one", yet just gave the wrong people the chance.
Ryan is Kate's best friend, but he's loved Kate for a long time.  They have always had a flirty kind of relationship, but Kate never acted on anything because her friendship was way more important to her, and the chance of ruining it to have a relationship with him, was a chance Kate wasn't willing to take.
At this point I became a little frustrated with Kate, only because she was just "fearing regret", rather than taking a chance and living.
Kate was very confused.  She definitely  had feelings for Ryan (who by the way is a freaking sex god).
Then someone else comes into the picture (I can't say who), and let the love triangle begin.
Fearing Regret was honestly such a great book.  After reading Finding Solace, and falling in love with every second of it, I knew Barbara wasn't going to disappoint.  I was 100% right.
Fearing Regret is the story of wanting to find love with the right person, and fearing it at the same time. Learning that love is a process; you must grow with someone that you love.  Forget about the fear it comes with.
I love Barbara's writing style.  She made me feel like I was right there with the characters.  Going through every happy, sad, funny moment, right there with them.
Fearing Regret was a story that you could relate to, which I love most about it.  It wasn't just a boy meets girl and they fall in love.
I recommend this story to anyone (over 18 of coarse) who likes love mixed with just the right amount of sexiness.
This was without a doubt a 5 star read.  Go do yourself a favor and read this book, and find out what happens in Fearing Regret, I promise you wont regret it.

AUTHOR BIO:

I have a mad passion for books. It could be considered an addiction by some.
After the responsibilities of work, being a mother and a wife are  fulfilled each day, I escape in a book.
I never really thought of myself as a writer before. My true passion was as a reader.
One day an idea came to me and I could not stop after that first thought.
I hope you all will enjoy what I can bring you. I have plenty more ideas to go from here.
