REVIEW by Amy

Well I'm not quite sure where to start, the story was well thought out. Very descriptive through each character's purpose.

Starting with the girl no one looks at, but can count on to help everyone around her has the biggest crush on the heartthrob.

She gets her wish and has the man she lusts for before mixing away. Unfortunately tragedy strikes as her parents are killed and then she gets to see the man she loves.

However not everything is peaches and cream with a head full of lust she can't see what a snake he is being.

In parts you're screaming at her to kick him for treating her badly, and in others you swoon.

This is one roller coaster ride of a story and a damn good one. Though some parts did lack excitement others grabbed you and crushed you.

There's one particular part that had me crying when it hit a very close nerve.

An amazing book I recommend you give it a try and see for yourself. Congratulations Serena

AUTHOR BIO
I spent my childhood in India, qualified as a Lawyer in England and joined a large London firm.

Romance is hardwired into my DNA so my novels include a strong romantic theme. However, I broke out of the romance bubble with one (you’ll see which one when you visit the Books page), which is a quirky departure in style and content.

I've also authored several short stories that feature on my blog http://www.serenafairfax.com/serena_fairfax_author_blog/.

Fast forward to a sabbatical from the day job when I traded in bricks and mortar for a houseboat which, for a hardened land lubber like me, turned out to be a big adventure.

Apart from writing and reading (all kinds of books), a few of my favourite things are collecting old masks, singing (in the rain) and exploring off the beaten track.

I'm a member of the Romantic Novelists Association, which is a very supportive organisation. My golden retriever, Inspector Morse, who can't wait to unleash his own Facebook page, and I divide our time between London and rural Kent. (Charles Dickens said: Kent, sir. Everybody knows Kent. Apples, cherries, hops and women).

REVIEW: Midnight(A McKenna Chronicle) by Elizabeth Miller

SYNOPSIS
There are many defining moments in life. I’ve had my fair share. One thing is certain, none of them compare to the life altering instant his piercing blue eyes capture mine. In one second life as I know it is over and the next chapter begins…

One second. It alters journalist, Charlise "Charlie" Carter’s course. When asked to work on a Republican candidate's campaign, she’s unprepared for the intense reaction she has toward the young, handsome presidential hopeful, Colin McKenna.

Unable to resist Charlie’s allure, McKenna succumbs to his desire and they find themselves exploring a passionate, physical relationship that is soon tested by not only their own secrets, but his political advisers.

Traveling the country in pursuit of the presidential nomination, his career aspirations and complications from the past collide with their desire to be together, threatening to tear them apart forever. Midnight tells a compelling story of burgeoning trust, intense passion and secrets that could cause it all to unravel in a heartbeat.

Midnight is an adult contemporary romance, due to strong language and sexual content this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

REVIEW by Amy

Holy Cow!!!

Wow this book is amazing.

Story is intriguing and captivating at the same time.

Colin McKenna is the H.O.T state senator going state to state havering votes to be a president candidate.

Charlie Carter is hired as the social media coordinator for the campaign.

Both are damaged and are two broken halves but when they both fall into the sexual desire they have for one and another will the two halves become one?

Throughout the story your emotionally connected to the characters, learning about Charlie's background and then a little of Colin's.

You hope that they find one another and can be each other's HEA. Although as you read the last chapter of the book you get a real bad feeling about what's coming. Until bam the story ended on a cliffhanger.

I'm not a huge fan of cliffhangers but boy do I love them too. I so can't wait to find out what happens to both Charlie and Collin.

Who the stalker is? ( tho I think I have an idea)
What happens to Ella and her bitchyness

And finally will there be a HEA?

Congrats on a wonderful story I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and look forward to reading more of your work. :-)

AUTHOR
I’m a long time book junkie, reading for as long as I can remember.  When I was young, my parents would take away my book as punishment for breaking the rules.  Grounding didn’t hurt so much, but taking away my book was torture! I work for a Healthcare system, in Human Resources as a Labor Relations Rep.  Always an interesting day in this field!  I’m married to a wonderful, very sarcastic and supportive husband.  We have two boys, 3 & 5, and two kitties, living in Rochester, MI.
I graduated with an English Literature degree and always dreamed of writing, but life took over for a while and the passion was lost for a few years.  After falling for so many book boyfriends I decided to put my fantasy in print and began writing Midnight in 2013 - a dream come true when I published earlier this year.
If I’m not writing, I’m reading or painting abstracts or playing Wii with my boys.  My other favorites are Halloween, Henry Cavill and BBQing with friends.

SYNOPSIS
He made her feel electric. Like volts of energy fizzled through her veins, racing, constantly stimulating. It was intoxicating and thrilling. And for the first time in her life, she felt truly alive.

Luke Branford.

Notorious womanizer.

Shameless flirt.

Heir to his family’s multi-million dollar business.

His motto? No love, no relationships. Just pure, carnal sex…no strings-attached.

When prim and efficient Kate Kennedy is hired on as Luke's temporary assistant, her no-nonsense attitude and blatant dismissal of his advances sparks a challenge he simply can’t resist. But Luke has demons of his own and a tragedy that happened years ago continues to haunt him. Once lines are crossed and rules are broken, will past secrets keep them apart…or bind them closer together?

REVIEW
by Amy

For those of you who have read The Rebound Series, you would have already met Luke Banford.

Well let me tell you about Electric,

-It's hot
-Sexy
-Heart breaking
-Emotional
-Alpha-tastic (yeah i think i made that word up but it speaks volumes)
-Oh and yes one very sexy Luke Banford with his dimple smile

Luke Banford is anything but shy when it comes to women, although he wouldn't be able to tell you their names as he doesn't know. They are stored in his phone as HOT-BLONDE 2 etc.. However a certain young lady has captured his attention in a local coffee shop and Luke just can't seem to find he mojo when it comes to Katherine "Kate" Kennedy.

Kate lives a simple life trying to make her way in the world as an author, however things are not that easy. She finds it hard to find anyone who will give her a chance with her stories and also finds it difficult to find any job. She notices the sex on a stick heart throb with the "Electric" blue eyes who always comes into the coffee shop at 7.30am, but she doesn't trust men at all.

Can Luke find his nerve to talk to Kate?

Can Kate let go of the walls surrounding her?

Can secrets jeopardise anything actually happening?

Will their be a HEA?

I know if I was to go on and tell you more I would spoil everything and I don't want to do that, its such an amazing story and I look forward to reading the others, as i know I won't be disappointed at all.

Congrats on another smash hit, absolutely fantastic and work everyone of them 5 stars.
