SYNOPSIS:

Excerpt 1:
“What’s for dessert?” I asked as he closed the door.
“Anything you want, sugar.”
“You know what I want,” I said with a smile that was anything but innocent.
“Are you up to it?” he asked with a look of concern.
“Question is, big boy, are you up to it?”
He laughed. “Don’t ask questions if you can’t handle the hearing the answer.
Eat your food and I’ll show you how up to it I am, sugar.” He placed a giant piece of
lasagna with cheese oozing out in front of me. My stomach growled at the smell and
the feeling of hunger finally hit me.
I wanted him and I figured that if I challenged his manhood, he’d finally cave.
All men are the same in that regard. I cut into the slice and watched all the insides
squish onto my plate. The hot lasagna spread across my tongue and I wanted to
moan from the taste.
“That good, huh?” City asked as he scooped a chunk in his mouth.
“What? Did I?”
“Yep, you moaned, sugar.”
My face became heated. “Well, I’m used to Stouffer’s lasagna. This is amazing,
City. You don’t know how lucky you were to grow up on this type of home cooking.”
I slid the fork across my tongue and slowly chewed, letting all the flavors dance on
my tongue.
“I never thought about it. Suzy, you keep making noises like that and I won’t
let you finish the next bite.” He set the fork on his plate and stared at me.
“I need my fuel to get better.” I placed another sliver in my mouth, closed my
eyes, and made a small sound in the back of my throat.
“You have thirty seconds to finish what’s in front of you before I take your ass
in the bedroom and give you something to really moan about.” He crossed his arms
over his chest and looked at the watch on his wrist. I shoveled the food in my mouth.
I felt torn in this moment, but the lasagna could always be reheated.
“Fifteen.” He smiled at me and I felt everything in my body convulse and
scream to be touched. I shoveled another forkful in my mouth as I chewed like a
maniac.
“Five.”
“Wait!” I held up my hand. “I need something to drink,” I said as I hopped off
the high top chair around my café table.
“I got something for you to wash that down with, sugar. Time’s up.”

Chelle is an avid reader; consuming contemporary

Slap my ass and tickle my toes!! When Throttle Me by Chelle Bliss hit my in box I do believe I actually screamed with excitement. I have been waiting so patiently for her to finish this and was so honored to receive an ARC.
Suzy has it all planned out, life that is, or so she thinks. It’s all turned up-side down when City rides into her life, literally. Her knight in shining chrome sweeps her off her feet and ride off full throttle into the night. But after one crazy passionate night, Suzy is throwing on the breaks. City is not at all what she planned on as her perfect guy. He just doesn’t fit into what she has drawn out and pictured as her perfect life. The girl has a list….like an actual hand written list. Now Suzy must make up her mind. Take the chance and follow her heart or stay on the predictable path she has planned for her future.
City is your typical tattooed, motorcycle riding, bad boy on the outside but with a whole lot more going on underneath. City has an incredible hardworking and loving family that means everything to him. But just when he least expects it his heart is stolen away by a beautiful blue eyed beauty. Suzy is not at all what he is looking for, but he is lost in her good girl innocence. Helping her break free of it and just be her, no masks, no plans, and no walls we be his greatest challenge and most exciting ride yet.
Author Chelle Bliss is off to a great start with this new series. She has yet again created two wonderful characters that really heat things up in Throttle Me. City with his dirty talking spontaneous ways and Suzy with her stubbornness to stick to the plan she has set for herself. Their adventure to find each other and let their walls down to find love is a beautiful romance with a shot of adventure when you throw in a load and rowdy loving Italian family. I can't wait to read more of the Gallo family and look forward to Chelle Bliss's next book.
