I NEED MORE!! 

 

I became obsessed with the wonderful Kendall after reading her Hard Rock Harlots series, so I was super excited to read Hot Blooded.  I must say, Kendall did not disappoint!

 

Honestly I knew before reading Hot Blooded I was going to love this book.  I mean number one it's Kendall FREAKING Grey, her writing is just genius, and she once again proved it with this book.

 

Keahilani, the badass heroine, has to be one of my favorite characters ever. 

She has NO shame in her game.  Keahilani is strong, scary, and doesn't take shit from anyone. The story takes place on the island of Hawaii.  After a tragic accident left Keahilani and her siblings alone, to fend for themselves, Keahilani does what it takes to keep her family going.

 

Keahilani, and her brothers will do anything and everything they needs to do for their ohana.  Legal or illegal.  It doesn't matter.  They will do anything. 

 

After a discovery of what her mother has kept hidden, Keahilani figures out she has a HUGE opportunity to make a lot of money, and her journey of doing just that, begins. 

 

I don't want to give anything away in this story, and I feel like just the smallest detail could do just that.  Kendal finds a way to create a story that consumes you until the very end.  The meaning of family was very strong in this book, and I loved that.  I feel like when it comes to family, I would also do whatever by any means necessary for my family. 

 

What Keahlani hopes can be an easy job, becomes something much more complex.  Especially when you throw a sexy Blake Murphy in the picture, things get even crazier.  At first what starts as a sex fantasy brought to life, turns into a freaking nightmare.  Blake is their on a job, to find someone, and take care of them.  Keahlani is just having fun, being that Blake is the perfect person that can handle her more kinky fetishes, with.   They both get involved with eachother, getting sidetracked from the job they should be doing.  They're both more connected than they know. 

 

Kendall takes you on a crazy journey of family, love, life and death.  Hot Blooded is the story of going to the ends of the world for your ohana.  No questions asked, you do what you have to do, and you don't complain about it. 

 

Hot Blooded is an amazing book! A well deserved 5 stars!  Kendall once again you did an amazing job.  I can't wait to see what book two brings!
