Broken By Love is an amazing book!
I was introduced to Kate in Scarred By Love, she is Riley's best friend, who is dating Carson, Riley's brother.
Anyways, in the beginning of Broken By Love, Carson's behavior forces Kate to leave him, while she's six months pregnant.
Kate moves back into her old apartment with Riley and Zander.
Once Carson realizes that Kate's gone, he's broken. He knows he pushed her to a point of no return. Now the mother of his child is gone, and he feels theirs nothing he can do about it. No matter how hard he tries, how many times he apologizes, Kate's not budging.
CA Harms has a way with words. I was emotionally attached to all of these characters. I felt all the pain that Riley felt when she was heartbroken, and I felt her happiness when her and Carson try to work things out.
Broken By Love was the beautiful story of what happens when love isn't enough. No matter how much you can love someone, if they don't treat you like the beautiful person you are, then they aren't worth it. Love isn't supposed to be painful more times than not. One thing about love though, is that if you really love someone, you work hard for that love. You do everything and anything you can to make it work.
CA once again you WOWED me with this amazing 5 star read. You are awesome girl!
