Monica James spent her youth devouring the works of Anne Rice, William Shakespeare and Emily Dickinson. Listening to the likes of Elvis to Fiona Apple and everything in between has been her inspirational tool to write. Her varied musical and literary tastes have shaped her into the writer she has become. Monica partook in extra Literature and Writing studies in High School. She studied a Bachelor of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at La Trobe University Victoria, Australia, majoring in Philosophy and Cinema Studies for three years. Wow, where to start?

What an amazing book the story is so raw and emotionally completely gripping you from the start.

You feel the pain Mia goes through thinking to yourself how could any parent really do that to you?

She then gets away and meets 4 wonderful people who she slowly lets her guard down too and believes them to be her family.

Just as things are turning out great and you can see the HEA, fate throws a curve ball and Mia is fighting for her life again.

Your heart breaks for her as you feel your their living this time with her. You want to hug her and tell Her everything is ok we've got your back.

The story is fantastic I've read it in one sitting I just couldn't put it down I was so captivated.  Congrats on this book it's so amazing, I look forward to the next one my heart stopped where this story ended I really want to know what happens
