Avery Martin is a country boy stuck in the city working his dream job of being a fire fighter. Over the years he has given up a lot, including dating, to focus on his career. Responding to a car accident one day he becomes overly involved with the woman he is rescuing.
Will these two find love, or will amnesia cost them the future they might have had?
*I received an
un-edited ARC in exchange for an honest review*
Crashed is a wonderful love
story between a beautiful head strong woman and a gorgeous southern hero.
You just can’t get any
better then Avery Martin. With his sweet southern charm, big heart, flowers and
midnight walks on the beach Avery will sweep you right off your feet.
Oh and can I just say "Firefighter
in the house, whoop whoop!!!"
Every girl is waiting for her
knight and shining armor to rescue her and that is just what Emily Taylor got,
except her hero road in on a big red fire truck and scooped her up in his huge muscular
arms to carry her away from a horrible car accident. *Swoon* But wait it only
gets better.
“Emily laid there half dazed watching this
stunningly gorgeous man take care of her. If she had known the firemen in Daytona Beach were this
sexy, she would have lit her house on fire long ago”
Emily and Avery’s romance
began sweet and slow but soon revved up to red hot.
The late night walks on the
beach and cuddling up in bed just to watch a movie is enough to curl my toes,
but making love under the stars and hot passionate kiss in the rain did me in. Avery is a romantic master.
Even Emily had a few romantic surprises for Avery.
“It wasn't
until he had it in his hands that he
became aware of what it was. Emily had put a hot ass
thong in the bottom of his lunch bag. Oh.
My.God. This girl is going to be the end of me”
Girlfriend
just gave me a great idea and I am sure my husband will thank you.
The comical banter between
the characters and Avery’s continues romantic acts are what really made this an
enjoyable read for me. Elwood not only delivered
on the romance but also the suspense and mystery. The shady brother-in-law and crazy ex-boyfriend
Dr. Jared Hart kept me on the edge of my seat just wait to see how they fit into
this beautiful romance. Hang in there to
the end because WOW what an ending. Elwood
tied up everything very nicely and I got the best romantic ending I could have ever
hoped for. Now I can’t wait for the next
book in what is sure to be an awesome series.
